Due to the distances involved and the mileage cost, I rarely venture outside of West Sussex to offer in person camera talks – although it is always worth asking if one can be coordinated with one of my explorations of the UK.
This session explores some of the challenges of finding your own photographic voice both on location and in post processing. It will feature images from local landscapes as well as from around the UK and Slovenia.
My presentations are PowerPoint based and can be run from my own laptop. I will require a screen and projector with cable connection for face-to-face sessions.
The talk is 2 hours with a short break and time factored in for questions and discussion as appropriate.Â
Photography Club of Bayfield (Ontario)
The PCOB would like to thank you for your wonderful presentation last night. The photography you displayed was really inspiring. The quality of the photographs speaks to your achievements within the art of landscape photography. Your talk was well planned, succinct and carried the theme throughout.
You have a wonderful ability in reaching your audience. Rather than a top-down message, you provided a journey of discovery and development which is what we as members of the club really need.
Dorking Camera Club
‘Your energy and enthusiasm was infectious and refreshing, and it was lovely to see your raw images as well as the edited ones, as it showed the reality of what to expect to see on the back of our cameras! I am amazed that you do so little editing, which is a testament to how well you see the original scene and use the light available. ‘
