Heather Season

The heather season in the South Downs National Park typically occurs during late summer and early autumn, from late July through September. Heather (Calluna vulgaris) is a distinctive and colourful plant that blankets parts of the park’s landscape with vibrant hues of purple and pink during this time of year.
